Format

18-Hole Stroke Play Qualifier.

In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position(s), a sudden death playoff will take place at the completion of stroke play to determine the final qualifying spots.

Top 15 Players will Advance to the Senior Division Match Play portion of the Championship;

Top 7 Players will Advance to the Super Senior Division Match Play portion of the Championship.

Eligibility

Amateur members of MGA Member Clubs in the nine county area, members of the MGA eClub – Hudson Valley, MGA eClub – Connecticut, or USGA/MGA GC who reside in the nine county area, and members of the MGA eClub – New York City or USGA/MGA GC who reside in the Bronx, or Manhattan* with an individual up-to-date Handicap Index.
*MGA eClub – NYC or USGA/MGA GC members who reside in Manhattan may play in either LIGA or WGA events, not both.

Senior Division: The Senior Division is for members who have reached their 55th birthday by July 6. Must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 10.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping.

Super Senior Division: The Super Senior Division is for members who have reached their 65th birthday by July 6. Must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 15.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping.

Exemptions: The defending Champion of the Senior Division and Masters Division are exempt into Match Play and receive the number 1 seed.

Championship Information
Carts/Caddies • Players may use a motorized golf cart. Please Note: Golf Cart fees are not included in the entry fee.
• Players may bring their own caddie.
• Players may carry their own bag.
• Pull carts will be approved on a course by course basis, please consult the Memorandum to Players.
• It is strongly recommended that caddies wear shoes without spikes or tread.
• Final information will be released in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event.
Food Service Food service will vary at each qualifying location, please consult the Memorandum to Players.
