| Eligibility |
Entry is open to any female and male amateur
golfer ages 12-18 who has not started college, is a
legal resident of North Carolina and has an active USGA GHIN handicap. If you originally created your tournament registration profile without your GHIN number, please contact us with your first and last name and your GHIN Number and we will update your profile. |
| Format |
36-holes of individual stroke play. There is no stroke limit. |
| Division |
Boys' 12-13, Boys' 14-15 and Boys' 16-18 Girls' will be divided into divisions based on the number of entries. TYGA reserves the right to modify divisions based on entries. |
| Starting Times |
8:00 am - 9:50 am and 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm double tee start. Starting times will be posted on June 3, 2021 |

All boys - Blue tees (6257 yards, par 71) All girls - White tees (5557 yards, par 71) |
| Field Size | 156 players maximum (132 boys and 24 girls) |
| Practice Range | Greenville CC has a short range. Please do not hit ball over the net!!! |
| Practice Round | Players may play a practice round on Monday, May 7th at a rate of $25 (walking). Players must call club in advance to schedule practice rounds. |
| NC Junior Boys' Qualifying | Round one of the Coastal Plains Junior can serve as a qualifier for the CGA NC Junior Boys. Boys wanting to qualify must register for the qualifier at time of registering for the Coastal Plains Junior. The number of qualifying spots will be determined after registration closes. |
| Electronic Measuring Devices | Players may use an approved measuring device during this event. |
| Push/Pull Carts | Push carts area allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments. |
| Caddie Information | Caddie are NOT allowed. |
| Spectator and Parent Policy | Spectator Information:
Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $25 per cart. Spectator carts are
restricted to the cart path at all times. Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. |
| Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by
contacting the TYGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be
suspended from TYGA events for 1 year. Refund Policy: A $20 administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals. |
| Prizes | Trophies are awarded to the overall champions and each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up. |
| Handicap Posting | TYGA will post tournament scores to player's GHIN handicap record. |
| Tournament of Champions | Invitations for the Tournament of Champions will be extended to all division winners in each TYGA one day series event. |
